Health Information Manager and Clinical Coding Educator
Anna is a Clinical Coding Educator, and Health Information Manager.
She has 45 years’ experience in Health Information Management, Clinical Coding
Education and Clinical Coding auditing.

CCE has a large network of HIM and Coding personnel that can be accessed depending on
the project.

Heather Grain

Heather is well respected nationally and internationally, particularly in the areas of data representation (classifications and terminologies), standards, semantic interoperability and practical system implementation. She has consulted to governments, healthcare organisations and software vendors on data quality, specification, classification and terminology governance, use and workforce.

Deirdre McDonagh

Deirdre is a Health information Manager and Certified Clinical Coding Auditor, with national and international experience in training, quality assurance and data management.

  • CCE has access to a network of Clinical Coding trainers available for Coding Education projects
  • CCE has developed Learner’s Guides for all chapters of ICD-10-AM and for ACHI, which have been successfully used in graduating students in various clinical coding courses, including Certificate IV and diploma courses.
  • The CCE Learner’s Guides are available for licensing to educational institutions
  • CCE can provide face-to-face training in Clinical Coding when required
  • CCE provides on-line coding training providing downloadable Learner’s Guides and using eHRoL (ehrol.gehco.org) – an on-line cloud-based program enabling students to work through simulated coding episodes for practice or assessment.
  • CCE has a long-standing relationship with eHealth Education (ehe.edu.au) through which on-line clinical coding training has been provided since 2010

  • The CCE coding audit tool is used to automate the classification of coding errors determined in the audit.
